About

Ocular Dynamics was founded on a simple observation: many of the signals that shape long-term vision health occur between doctor visits, in the daily inputs and conditions that standard episodic care is not designed to capture.

Our work begins with intraocular pressure because it is measurable, modifiable, and central to glaucoma care. But pressure is only part of the picture. Optic nerve stress is shaped by the broader conditions that affect pressure, blood flow, and oxygen availability — including timing, environment, altitude, vascular stress, medications, and product or ingredient exposures among other factors.

We build tools that turn those scattered inputs into high-leverage signals. The goal is clearer prevention: helping patients identify and interpret signals they can act on, and giving clinicians better context for what may be happening between appointments.

Approach

ODyn is built for prevention, not hindsight. Standard glaucoma care is episodic, but many of the signals that stress the optic nerve are intermittent: product or ingredient induced pressure spikes, exposure timing, altitude and hypoxia, sleep disruption, vascular stress, and medication timing among other factors.

Our work is to turn those noisy daily inputs into high-leverage signals. ODyn combines home pressure measurements, label-confirmed product and ingredient data, environmental context, and long-term pattern recognition to help users see which exposures and conditions repeatedly move their physiology in the wrong direction.

Signals are useful because they support action: testing an exposure, removing a repeat trigger, changing context, monitoring the result, or bringing clearer evidence to a clinician. We are building ODyn to help patients and clinicians move from isolated snapshots toward prevention-oriented care.

ODyn does not diagnose disease, measure intraocular pressure directly, prescribe medication, or replace clinical care. It helps users identify and act on recurring exposure and pressure patterns, and gives clinicians clearer context about what may be happening between appointments.

Founder

Kenton Phillips founded Ocular Dynamics after his own experience navigating glaucoma care revealed a practical gap: some of the signals most relevant to optic nerve stress were occurring between appointments, but the available tools were not built to capture, connect, or act on them. His background in software systems, data architecture, and machine-learning systems shapes the company's focus on signal quality and practical signal synthesis — turning pressure readings, product and ingredient data, environmental context, and physiology into high-leverage signals patients can use and clinicians can review.
